Organized by Keep Louisiana Beautiful and supported by Lt. Gov. This year's campaign also ties into the celebration of America's 250th birthday, with participants encouraged to collect at least 250 pieces of litter. Schools across Louisiana are urged to get involved through campus cleanups, tree planting, gardening projects, and environmental lessons. Students can also participate in poster contests promoting litter prevention, while free educational resources and cleanup supplies are available through local libraries.
