After a 27-year hiatus, the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club has returned to Todd Central High School. TCCHS alumna Madison Frogue, the club's advisor, has helped relaunch the organization, which is now focused on community outreach, leadership development, and providing real-world business experience to students.
Why it matters
The revival of the FBLA club at Todd Central represents an opportunity to reconnect the school with the local business community and give students valuable career-readiness skills. The club's focus on leadership, scholarships, and community service aligns with the school's mission to develop well-rounded, community-minded graduates.
The details
As part of the FBLA club's relaunch, members have already presented to the local Rotary Club and are planning future guest speaker events, fundraisers with local businesses, and community service projects like a neighborhood trash pickup. The club also recently attended a regional FBLA conference, where one of their members placed second in broadcast journalism and qualified for the state competition.
