York University baseball team sweeps Sterling to stay perfect in KCAC play
Panthers improve to 4-5 overall, 3-0 in conference with pair of wins

The York University baseball team picked up a pair of victories at Sterling on Friday, sweeping the three-game KCAC series. The Panthers won the first game 8-7 and the second game 12-2 to improve to 4-5 on the season and 3-0 in league play.

The details
In the first game, York trailed 1-0 in the second inning before tying it up. They took a 3-2 lead in the sixth and then broke the game open with a five-run ninth inning. Sam Hodoly, Landon Morgan, and Jay Twedt each had two hits and two RBIs. In the second game, York jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first inning and cruised to the 12-2 victory. Twedt hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning to provide the final margin.
