Feel the pulse of John Adams Shaker Loops as choreographer Joshua Blake Carter translates the work's driving rhythms and shimmering textures into a kinetic, mesmerizing display of movement. Then, step into the bustling streets of 1920s France with Gershwin's An American in Paris, brought to life through the vibrant choreography of David Hochoy. The program also features the second movement of Glass Pieces by Philip Glass, a hypnotic and meditative work that evokes ritual and reverence, with choreography by Sean Aaron Carmon.
