The 2026 Salem Community High School Sports Hall of Fame inductees have been announced, including standout basketball players Stephanie (Carpenter) Aldridge and John Fischer, the dominant 2008 girls tennis team, and the successful 1987 football team.

Stephanie (Carpenter) Aldridge, Class of 2010, was a prolific scorer with over 1,000 points in both high school and college, an All-State performer, and a record-setting free throw shooter who helped lead her teams to 4 20-win seasons and 3 regional titles. John Fischer, Class of 2006, was the driving force behind Salem's basketball resurgence, averaging 19 points per game his senior year and being named an All-Star. The 2008 girls tennis team had a dominant 40-4 record and 14-0 conference mark, reaching the sectional finals as one of the best teams to represent Salem. The 1987 football team finished 8-3 with a playoff win, rushing for over 2,500 yards and recording 3 shutouts on defense.

John Fischer

A 2006 graduate who was the driving force behind Salem's basketball resurgence, averaging 19 points per game his senior year and being named an All-Star, as well as being part of a record-setting relay track team.

2008 Girls Tennis Team

The dominant girls tennis team had a 40-4 record and 14-0 conference mark, reaching the sectional finals as one of the best teams to represent Salem Community High School.

1987 Football Team

The successful 1987 football team finished 8-3 with a playoff win, rushing for over 2,500 yards and recording 3 shutouts on defense.
