Plainfield Central's Shania Davison had two third-place finishes at the VanDeveer Invitational. On the boys side, Lincoln-Way East, Lincoln-Way West, and Minooka had strong showings at various invitationals, with individual winners like Justin Titus (200m), Brendan Hanrahan (3,200m), and Cooper Bowman (pole vault). In baseball, Coal City swept a doubleheader, Sandburg defeated Joliet West, and Joliet Central blanked Argo. Softball saw Antioch and McHenry defeat Bolingbrook, while Coal City topped Joliet West. Joliet Central won the Elk Grove Badminton Invitational, and there were mixed results in girls soccer and boys lacrosse as well.
