After launching in the US, Google is now rolling out its Personal Intelligence feature to Gemini app users globally, excluding the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the UK. Personal Intelligence uses data from a user's Google accounts and apps to provide tailored recommendations and assistance without additional prompting, such as shopping suggestions, tech troubleshooting, travel planning, and hobby discovery.

The details

The feature is opt-in and users can choose which apps Gemini has access to at any time, but it is enabled by default for each prompt, with an option to disable it in the Tools menu.
