DeffJam is an evening of live music and arts celebrating the life of Ryan Deffet. Join us at Thalia Hall on Saturday, January 3rd - all ages welcome, pay what you can. Proceeds will be donated to Experimental Sound Studio. Radiating creativity, kindness, and joy - Ryan invested time in the arts, cherished moments with loved ones, and befriended communities all over.
Why We Like It
- Ryan Deffet kicked off DeffJam in 2016, and this year's rendition carries his energy forward as friends take the stage and come together from all over.
- Proceeds will go towards Experimental Sound Studio, a Chicago-based nonprofit dedicated to artistic evolution and the creative exploration of sound.
- ESS is working with the Deffet family to provide scholarships to musicians and audio engineers in Ryan's name.
