Garden City plans neighborhood meeting on Adams Street rezoning

Garden City officials will host a neighborhood meeting on April 22 to discuss a proposed rezoning of properties near the Heron Park and Waterfront District areas along Adams Street. The rezoning would affect more than two dozen properties on both sides of Adams Street, between East 37th and East 38th streets, and along North Reed Street, with the goal of regenerating a former Ada County Highway District operations and maintenance yard site.

• The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 20, at 6:30 p.m.

Residents wishing to submit written comments must do so at least two weeks before each public hearing. Comments can be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to the Development Services Department. Those who wish to provide oral testimony must appear in person at one of the public hearings.
