Vibrant Hawaiʻi's summer food program aims to make healthy meals accessible to children across the Big Island through a network of community-led distribution sites.Waimea TodayAfter receiving over 9,500 applications, Vibrant Hawaiʻi is looking for partners to lead distribution sites for its 2026 Kaukau 4 Keiki summer food program in locations across the Big Island, including Hāmākua, Honokaʻa, Kailua-Kona, Keaʻau, and more. Community organizations, schools, churches, nonprofits, and neighborhood groups are all encouraged to apply, even without prior experience as Vibrant Hawaiʻi provides training and support.

Vibrant Hawaiʻi is seeking partners to lead distribution sites in 16 different communities across the Big Island, including Hāmākua, Honokaʻa, Kailua-Kona, Keaʻau, North Hilo, North Kohala, Nā'ālehu, Ocean View, Pāhala, Puna Makai, Puna Mauka, South Hilo, South Kona, Waimea, Waikoloa, and Volcano. The program will run from June 15 to July 24, 2026, and site registration is open through April 20, 2026.
