The East Laurens Lady Falcons girls basketball team won the state championship on Friday, and the community celebrated with a victory parade through downtown Dublin on Saturday. The parade featured the team, coaches, and the newly won state championship trophy, drawing cheers and applause from the crowds lining the streets.

Senior Jameria Bing said it was a hard-fought victory that the team had been working towards all season.
