Illumine 2026 transforms the historic Oakland Cemetery into a canvas for Atlanta's most innovative artists.Atlanta TodayOakland Cemetery in Atlanta will host its annual Illumine festival on April 16, 2026, transforming the historic grounds with colorful lighting and art installations by local artists. The event, organized by the Historic Oakland Foundation, will feature works by Vanna Black, Marcia R Cohen, Eddie Farr, Jordan Graves, Christina Kwan, and other acclaimed creators.

Illumine 2026 will feature lighting installations and artwork by over 10 local artists, including a special presentation of works by the late photographer Ralph Eugene Meatyard in partnership with the High Museum of Art. Other participants include the neon artists of The Neon Company, sculptor Daniel Phelps whose piece will be featured on a Downtown Atlanta MAP Rover, and multimedia artist Fabian Williams.
