Florida State University's Student Union building in Tallahassee has undergone a major renovation, featuring a comprehensive roofing overhaul by Siplast. The new roofing systems, including low-slope, paved, and vegetated options, have transformed the building into a state-of-the-art facility that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces for the university community.

Architects Lewis + Whitlock selected Siplast as the single-source manufacturer to deliver integrated roofing solutions for the 66,700-square-foot project. The roofing assembly includes a Siplast SBS Roofing System for the main low-slope areas, a Siplast SBS + Paver system for trafficable zones, and a Siplast Green Roof system to create inviting, sustainable rooftop spaces. The vegetated roof, covering 15,000 square feet, is the largest on the FSU campus and seamlessly extends the university's Legacy Walk.
