At the Tom Jones Memorial Invite, the Texas Tech women's 4x400 relay team of Vanessa Balde, Mekenze Kelley, Lovia Ewusi and Collinique Farrington combined for a time of 3:28.64, breaking the previous school record of 3:29.49 set in 2004. Both the men's and women's 4x100 relay teams also placed second overall. In the individual events, Alyssa Colbert ran a time of 11.11 seconds in the 100m, which ranks 6th all-time for Texas Tech. At the Mt. SAC Relays, Temitope Adeshina won the high jump with a mark of 1.95m (6-4.75), which ranks 3rd all-time for the school and is currently the top jump in the NCAA this season. Tamiah Washington also won the triple jump with a leap of 13.41m (44-0). At the Joe Gillespie Invitational, Trey Wilson won the men's shot put, while the women's shot put saw a 1-2-3 finish for Texas Tech, led by Faith Mitchell.
