Rosamond J. (Cameron) Pierce, a longtime resident of Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, passed away on March 19, 2026 at the age of 92 following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Victor M. Pierce, to whom she was married for 64 years. Born and raised in Arlington, Massachusetts, Pierce spent her summers at her beloved Pease's Point in Mattapoisett, where she met her future husband. She was a graduate of Arlington High School and the University of New Hampshire, where she pursued a degree in education and was a member of the field hockey team. After raising her family in Felton, Delaware, Pierce returned to education as a para-professional at Lake Forest High School, where she worked in the classroom for many years.
