Roger Peltzman's new one-man show "DEDICATION" will make its New York City theatrical debut at The Museum of Jewish Heritage on March 15, 2026, followed by performances at Theaterworks Hartford, Connecticut from April 28-May 2, 2026. The show combines monologue, images, live piano performance, and humor to tell the story of Peltzman's family before and during the Holocaust, including his mother's harrowing escape and the tragic death of his uncle in Auschwitz.

Why it matters

The Holocaust continues to be an important topic, and Peltzman's personal story provides an authentic and engaging account of the Shoah that is especially relevant given the rise of anti-Semitism. The show aims to help people come to terms with inherited Holocaust trauma through the power of music and performance.
