Lyons will hold a mail ballot election for mayor and six trustees on Tuesday. There are two mayoral candidates on the ballot, and nine candidates for trustee. There are no ballot measures this election cycle. Voters can select up to six candidates for trustee and one for mayor. Lyons' current mayor, Hollie Rogan, is approaching the end of her term.

Ballots were mailed to all registered voters who live within the town limits on March 16. If you are not yet registered to vote and/or did not receive a mail-in ballot, it is not too late to register. Visit the Town Clerk's Office at Town Hall, 432 Fifth Ave., to have a replacement ballot issued. Ballots can be dropped off at the town hall's 24-hour ballot drop box any time by end of day Tuesday.
