One person was killed and two others were injured in a series of crashes on Interstate 25 north of Denver in the early hours of Saturday morning, according to the Colorado State Patrol. The crashes involved a Chevrolet Trax, a Mitsubishi Outlander, and a Mercedes-Benz C43, and occurred around 3:42 a.m. near East 58th Avenue.

A 30-year-old man from the SUV was pronounced dead at the hospital, while a 20-year-old man from the same vehicle is in serious condition. The Mercedes-Benz driver, a 27-year-old man, was also hospitalized with unknown injuries. The Mitsubishi driver was not reported to have any injuries.
