Solano County drivers should prepare for a series of overnight lane closures and a weekend ramp shutdown later this month as Caltrans advances multiple safety and environmental improvement projects along Interstate 80, including installing trash capture systems, upgrading guardrails, constructing mainline pullouts, and implementing erosion control measures.

Later in the month, there will be a full closure of the Solano Avenue/Springs Road on-ramp to westbound I-80 from 7 p.m. on Friday, April 17, until 5 a.m. on Monday, April 20, as part of a separate lighting and accessibility upgrade project.
