Sunnyvale's EnActe Arts is presenting a play that looks at the life of sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar, from his days as a young dancer in Paris to his role as a global icon. The play, 'Enchantment,' blends live dance performance with Shankar's original sitar recordings and compositions, performed by Bombay Jayashri. Later this month, EnActe Arts is also hosting the Anirudh Varma Collective, a group that blends Indian classical, jazz, and contemporary music.
