Experienced Volleyball Coach Takes Over Pacific Collegiate Boys Team

Pacific Collegiate School, a top-ranked public charter school academically, has hired experienced volleyball coach Todd Hollenbeck to lead its boys volleyball program. Hollenbeck, 41, has coached at every level from NCAA Division I to junior college and brings a wealth of experience to the Pumas. He previously served as the head coach at Menlo College, where his 2025 team was ranked No. 1 in Division II in California and top 10 in the country.
Why it matters
Pacific Collegiate School has a proud history in boys volleyball, winning Central Coast Section Division II titles in 2014 and 2017. However, the program has struggled in recent years, going 4-12 overall last season. Hollenbeck, a former player at the University of the Pacific, has coached at the NCAA Division I, Division III, NAIA, and junior college levels. He served as an assistant coach for the USC men's volleyball team from 2015-2018 before taking over as the head coach at Menlo College, where he led the Oaks to national recognition and individual accolades.
