Why it matters
Strong writing skills are foundational to student success across subjects, but many elementary schools struggle to provide consistent, high-quality writing instruction. It covers a wide range of writing skills, including foundational sentence writing, grammar and mechanics, genre writing, cross-curricular constructed response, and functional writing like note-taking and communication. The program is designed to supplement existing writing programs while bringing greater structure and coherence to writing instruction.

- Seesaw and Dr. Wiley Blevins will host a two-part webinar series on effective writing instruction in elementary classrooms, with the first session on April 23 and the second on May 6.
