The Buffalo Bills have already traded for WR D.J. Moore this offseason, but they may not be done adding weapons for QB Josh Allen. Bills insider Ryan Talbot suggested the team should make a run at signing free agent WR Jauan Jennings, who is coming off a strong season with the San Francisco 49ers.
Why it matters
The Bills have been knocking on the door of Super Bowl contention for years, and adding more elite pass-catching talent around Allen could help push them over the top. Jennings would provide another big, physical target for Allen after the departure of Stefon Diggs.
The details
Jennings had nearly 1,000 receiving yards two seasons ago and caught 55 passes for 643 yards and 9 touchdowns last year, despite dealing with injuries. However, his high asking price of around $22.6 million per year may price him out of the Bills' range. The Bills do have over $12 million in cap space currently, and could free up more after June 1 roster moves.
- The Bills traded for WR D.J. Moore earlier this offseason.
- Jennings is currently a free agent after his contract with the 49ers expired.

D.J. Moore
The wide receiver the Bills traded for earlier this offseason to give Allen a new WR1.
What they’re saying
“I said Jauan Jennings is still sitting out there, 29 years old. Two years ago, with the 49ers, almost 1000-yard season, thought he was pretty good last year as well.”
— Ryan Talbot, Bills insider
What’s next
The Bills will need to decide if Jennings' asking price fits within their salary cap constraints as they look to build a Super Bowl contender around Josh Allen.
The takeaway
The Bills are clearly focused on surrounding Josh Allen with as much offensive talent as possible this offseason, even after trading for D.J. Moore. Signing Jauan Jennings would give them another big, physical receiver to complement their passing attack, but his high price tag may be a sticking point in negotiations.
