Qliktag Software, a leading provider of Digital Product Passport (DPP) solutions, has announced the launch of Qliktag.eu - a dedicated deployment of the Qliktag Platform hosted entirely within the European Union. The new EU-based infrastructure is purpose-built to meet the data residency, data privacy, and regulatory requirements of brands and manufacturers implementing Digital Product Passports under the EU's Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).
Why it matters
As the ESPR regulation moves toward mandatory implementation, brands and manufacturers face increasing pressure to ensure their Digital Product Passport systems are compliant, secure, and data-sovereign. Qliktag.eu directly addresses these needs by providing a dedicated, regionally isolated environment that keeps sensitive product and supply chain data within the EU region.
The details
Qliktag.eu is deployed on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with primary infrastructure located in Frankfurt, Germany, and backup infrastructure and high availability support based in Ireland. This ensures that all customer accounts and DPP data remain within EU data centers at all times. The Qliktag Platform has been purpose-built over more than a decade to support the full lifecycle of Digital Product Passports, from product data modeling to consumer-facing digital experiences.
- Qliktag.eu was launched on March 14, 2026.
