The event was organized by second-grade teacher Kim Bridgman and special education teacher Mariah Mendoza, with the goal of helping students explore different careers and connect their learning to real-world success.

Additional speakers represented speech pathology, geology, wastewater management, water conservation, and steel manufacturing. Local government and public safety agencies were also represented, including a Beaumont city council member, the California Department of Investigations, the California Highway Patrol, and the Morongo Police Department. Fire Engine 66 was on site as part of the event.
