The partnership will blend Lucid's premium electric Gravity SUV, Nuro's autonomous driving technology, and Uber's global ride-hailing platform to offer a luxury autonomous ride-hailing experience. The companies are currently in the testing and validation phase, using the Bay Area as a proving ground for the integrated system before a planned wider rollout.

Once the validation phase is complete, the plan is to launch the service in the Bay Area before expanding to dozens of cities worldwide.
