The 30th annual Broyles Award ceremony will take place on Thursday night in Hot Springs, Arkansas, honoring the nation's top college football assistant coach. Five finalists have been selected from an original group of 64 nominees representing approximately 1,500 assistant coaches across the country.

The five finalists for the 2026 Broyles Award are: Mike Bobo (offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Georgia), Bryant Haines (defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Indiana), Corey Hetherman (defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Miami), Matt Patricia (defensive coordinator at Ohio State), and Shiel Wood (defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach at Texas Tech). For the first time this year, fan voting helped decide the finalists, with nearly 90,000 votes cast.
