Means was born on February 18, 1953 in Osceola, Arkansas to Melvin Wooten and Mary Helen (Gatlin) Wooten, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Means, her son Ronnie Dale Drew, her brother Ronnie Joe Wooten, and her sister Sandra Elaine Scott. Means is survived by her two daughters, Rhonda (Drew) Graham of Texas and Brandi Drew of Jonesboro, Arkansas, as well as her son Fred Drew of Harrisburg. She is also survived by her brothers Carl Murphy of Jonesboro and Roy Dale Wooten, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
