Later that morning, Holloway stole a Fiber Tel van and led police on a high-speed chase through Marion and Searcy counties, driving recklessly, passing vehicles on blind curves, and crashing through fences before abandoning the van. During the chase, Holloway threw items out of the van's window and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
