The International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers is held annually on May 29. It is an opportunity to appreciate the invaluable contribution of the uniformed and civilian personnel who work for the organization. The day honors over 4,000 peacekeepers who have lost their lives while serving under the U.N. flag since its inception in 1948. Officially established by the General Assembly of the U.N., the day marks the date when the first U.N. peacekeeping mission was named the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (U.N.T.S.O.) in 1948. It coincided with the year U.N.T.S.O. began operations in Palestine.
National Aaron Day

We celebrate National Aaron Day on May 27 every year. This day is dedicated to honoring all of the Aarons and their great contributions to the world. Aaron is a common name that has been in use for some time now. The popularity of the name peaked around the mid-1990s. Aaron is a masculine name, with only eight baby girls named Aaron in the year 2020. Compared to that, there were 5,039 baby boys named Aaron in the year 2020. The name is very old and it has been consistently popular since ancient times. Let us celebrate this day in the name of all the Aaron in the world.
World Red Head Day

World Redhead Day is celebrated every year on May 26. It is a day set aside to celebrate everyone who has natural red hair. If you have red hair, you are considered a part of a unique group because less than 2% of the world’s population is born with naturally red hair. Red hair is more common and appears with greater frequency (between 2% and 6%) among those of Northern European descent. Red hair gets its color from high levels of the reddish pigment pheomelanin and low levels of the dark pigment eumelanin.
