National Report Trade Agreement Act Fraud Day is observed annually on June 26. It was founded by former Department of Justice attorney and whistleblower advocate Joel D. Hesch, in 2018, to educate the public on the importance of reporting T.A.A. fraud, how to report the fraud, and the rewards available to whistleblowers. During the 15 years Hesch spent in the Department of Justice, he helped recover $1.2 billion from people who were cheating the government, and paid out rewards to whistleblowers worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
