Mauro Suchodolski is a Buenos Aires-based multimedia producer, audio engineer, and news editor who shapes National Today's storytelling across news, business, and culture verticals. His career includes producing the first-ever UNESCO podcast for Latin America, a decade as Sound Engineer and Producer at Argentina's national wire service Télam, and award-winning production work at Congo Podcast. His work on the Spotify Original Un mundo maravilloso received a Special Jury Mention at the 2023 Ondas Globales del Podcast awards, the highest honor in Spanish-language podcasting.
About Mauro Suchodolski
Mauro Suchodolski is a seasoned multimedia producer, audio engineer, video editor, and news journalist whose career spans broadcast news, Spotify Originals, UNESCO productions, and global brand podcasting.
From 2010 to 2020, he served as Sound Engineer and Producer at Agencia Nacional de Noticias Télam, Argentina’s state-run national wire service founded in 1945, which distributes news across the country to hundreds of outlets. As part of a newsroom of more than 700 journalists and technical staff, he assembled and sequenced the Télam Radio news service, building the editorial experience that now underpin his work at National Today.
Beyond his newsroom career, Suchodolski produced the first-ever UNESCO podcast for Latin America, a milestone commission that placed him at the center of the region’s institutional audio journalism scene. He also worked across Argentina’s vibrant independent digital radio and podcast ecosystem. At Futurock FM. Argentina’s pioneering politically engaged online radio station. he served as technical operator and editor. At Vorterix, the multimedia outlet founded by Mario Pergolini, he produced ¿Qué mierda es esto?, a program blending culture and current-events commentary.
His most recognized work came from Congo’s collaboration with Spotify. As part of the Congo production team, Suchodolski contributed to Un mundo maravilloso. a Spotify Original Argentina podcast produced with support from global partners including Meta, Heineken, and CONMEBOL.
Since 2023, Suchodolski has served as Senior Podcast Editor at BRANDED. a weekly business vodcast that has aired more than 134 episodes featuring CMOs and executives from IKEA, U.S. Bank, Mercedes-Benz, TD Bank, Morgan Stanley, Cadillac, and Alphabet chairman John Hennessy. In 2020 he served as scriptwriter, editor, and publisher of Lo prometido es deuda for the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) Argentina, a podcast documentary examining the history of Argentina’s sovereign debt crisis. He has also produced podcasts for global brands including Mercedes-Benz, TD Bank, Morgan Stanley, and Cadillac.
Suchodolski holds two Técnico Superior degrees from ETER Escuela de Comunicación, one of Argentina’s most advanced media institutions, in Radio Operations and Radio and Audiovisual Production, and a Bachiller Técnico en Medios de la Comunicación from Escuela Técnica ORT Buenos Aires.
