Sundance Wrestlers Take Third at Regionals

The Sundance High School wrestling team had a successful showing at the Regional Tournament this past weekend. The girls' team sent two wrestlers to state, with Maggie Morrison and Shyla Shoun both qualifying. On the boys' side, five Sundance wrestlers made it to the regional finals, with Tel Marchant capturing a regional title at 126 pounds. As a team, the Sundance boys finished in third place with 100 points.

On the boys' side in Wright, five Sundance wrestlers - Luke Halverson, Tel Marchant, Lyman Halverson, Wudzie Zaato and Kale Harless - all made it to the regional finals. Tel Marchant was able to capture a regional title at 126 pounds. Harris Haugen took third place, and Cash Peterson and Keaton Mayberry also placed in the top eight to qualify for state.
