West Virginia American Water is investing $1.6 million to replace aging water infrastructure in the Armour View area of South Charleston. The first phase of the project includes installing 1,800 feet of new 8-inch water main on Lincoln Drive and replacing 820 feet of aging 6-inch water main on Chestnut Street. The work is expected to improve water service reliability and reduce disruptive main breaks for local residents.
