Marilyn Luise (Moeller) Holmquist, a lifelong resident of West Bend, Wisconsin, passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 93. Holmquist was a dedicated community member, serving on the boards of the Schloemer Foundation, COLUMNS, Valpo Guild, and the Concordia-Wisconsin Foundation. She was also an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church, where she held various leadership roles.

Holmquist was born on October 4, 1932, to Arnold and Verna (Dobbratz) Moeller. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1954 with a degree in Elementary Education and taught school in Appleton, Wisconsin, where she met her husband, William 'Bill' Holmquist. The couple were married in 1956 and were together for 58 years until Bill's passing. Marilyn Holmquist was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church, serving in various leadership roles, including as president of the Ladies Guild, and as a board member for the St. John's West Bend Foundation.
