Japanese Workshops for Kids Offered at Menomonie Library

UW-Stout coordinator to lead hands-on classes highlighting Japanese traditions and crafts

The Menomonie Public Library is hosting a series of four hands-on workshops for kids ages 7-12 led by Keiko Morikawa, the UW-Stout Japan Outreach Initiative Coordinator. The workshops will highlight Japanese traditions and crafts.

The details

Each workshop will run from 4-5:30pm and cover different aspects of Japanese culture, such as traditional crafts. The workshops are free and open to kids ages 7-12.

  • The first workshop will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
  • Additional workshops are scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, Thursday, April 30, and Thursday, May 28, 2026.
