As Wisconsin football continues its in-state recruiting dominance under head coach Luke Fickell, the Badgers have landed seven commitments for their 2027 class - all from Wisconsin. The latest additions are offensive line twins Hunter and Reece Mallinger. Now, the Badgers' current commits are publicly campaigning for the state's top recruit, 4-star running back Kingston Allen from Green Bay, to join them in Madison.
Why it matters
Landing Allen would essentially give Wisconsin a clean sweep of the top in-state talent for 2027, solidifying their position as the premier destination for top Wisconsin high school players. This could help the Badgers return to their glory days of dominant, homegrown offensive lines and backfields.
The details
Wisconsin has already secured commitments from seven of the top 10 players in the state for 2027, including offensive linemen twins Hunter and Reece Mallinger. The Badgers' current commits, like tight end Korz Lorken and safety Dustin Roach, are now publicly recruiting 4-star running back Kingston Allen to join them. Allen, from Green Bay, is considered the top player in Wisconsin and one of the best tailbacks nationally. He has only two Power Five offers so far - Wisconsin and Northwestern.
- The Mallinger twins committed to Wisconsin in April 2026.
- Allen is set to take an official visit to Wisconsin from May 28-31, 2026.
