Students in Green Bay, Wisconsin got the chance to help socialize new rescue dogs at the Lucky 7 Dog Rescue while also working on their own social-emotional learning skills. First-grade students from Fort Howard Elementary School visited the rescue on Monday, allowing them to interact with the dogs and assist in their acclimation to new people.

The visit provided a unique opportunity for the students to apply the social-emotional skills they are learning in the classroom in a real-world setting, while also contributing to the well-being of the rescue dogs by helping with their socialization.
