Chippewa County Waste Tire Recycling Events Scheduled

Chippewa County in Wisconsin is hosting a series of waste tire recycling events at two locations - the Lafayette Recycling Center in Chippewa Falls and the Chippewa County Highway Shop in Cornell. The events will take place on April 16, April 25, and May 7, with varying hours for each date.

The details

The tire recycling events will be held at the Lafayette Recycling Center in Chippewa Falls and the Chippewa County Highway Shop in Cornell. Fees will be charged based on the size of the tires, with passenger tires up to 15 inches costing $4 for residents and $6 for businesses, and larger truck tires up to 19 inches costing $14 for residents and $17 for businesses. Large loads will be charged $375 per ton for residents and $385 per ton for businesses.
