The Seattle Seahawks have announced changes and additions to their coaching staff for the 2026 NFL season. The most notable move is the hiring of Brian Fleury as the team's new offensive coordinator, replacing Klint Kubiak who left to become the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. Several other new faces have joined the staff, including inside linebackers coach Zachary Orr, pass-game strategist Daniel Stern, and senior offensive assistant/running backs Thomas Hammock - all of whom previously worked with head coach Mike Macdonald in Baltimore. There were also a number of title changes among the returning coaches.
Why it matters
The Seahawks are coming off a Super Bowl championship in 2025 and are looking to build on that success. Maintaining coaching continuity is crucial, but the team has also brought in some new voices to help evolve the offense and defense. These staff changes could have a big impact on the team's performance and ability to defend their title in 2026.

Other new additions include inside linebackers coach Zachary Orr, pass-game strategist Daniel Stern, and senior offensive assistant/running backs Thomas Hammock - all of whom previously worked with Macdonald in Baltimore. There were also several title changes, including Tyson Prince being promoted to quarterbacks coach and Jake Peetz adding the title of offensive passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach.
