The Kamloops Blazers were defeated 8-3 by the WHL-leading Everett Silvertips on Friday night, surrendering eight goals on 45 shots. The Blazers opened the scoring but trailed 3-2 after the first period and 6-3 after two periods before the Silvertips added two more goals in the third period for the final 8-3 score.
