Bellevue Unveils New Fire Station 10

The city's first new fire station in nearly 30 years will serve downtown and northwest Bellevue.

Published on Mar. 10, 2026

Bellevue has officially opened its brand-new Fire Station 10, the city's first ground-up fire station in almost three decades. The 20,000-square-foot facility will house Engine 110, Aid 101, Medic 101, and Battalion 101, and is designed to improve emergency response times in downtown, northwest Bellevue, and the BelRed corridor.

Why it matters

The new fire station is a major upgrade for Bellevue's emergency services, as the city's downtown and northwest neighborhoods have seen significant growth in recent years with the addition of taller housing and workplaces. The station is expected to reduce response times and vertical response times for high-rise incidents.

The details

Fire Station 10 is located in the 1200 block of 112th Avenue NE, just north of McCormick Park. The station is built with infrastructure for future electric engine charging and incorporates on-site wetland restoration. The project is targeting LEED v4 Gold certification and Salmon-Safe practices.

  • Bellevue cut the ribbon on Fire Station 10 on March 10, 2026.
  • The station's open house is scheduled for April 25, 2026.
