American freestyle skier Mac Forehand won the silver medal in the men's big air event at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina. Forehand, who previously won several medals at the Winter X Games and FIS World Cup, produced two jumps scoring 95.00 and a third jump of 98.25, but came up just short of gold medalist Tormod Frostad of Norway.

In the men's Olympic big air final, Forehand landed two consecutive jumps scoring 95.00 before posting a third jump of 98.25. However, Norway's Tormod Frostad edged him out for the gold medal with a total score of 195.50 to Forehand's 193.25. The United States also had two other skiers, Troy Podmilsak and Konnor Ralph, finish fourth and fifth respectively in the event.
