The Vermont Agricultural Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for its 2026 class of inductees. Nominations can be submitted through March 20th, 2026 in three categories: Emerging Leaders, Ag Innovators, and Lifetime Achievement. The inductees will be honored at the annual luncheon during the Champlain Valley Fair in late summer.

The details
Nominations are open to any person who is or has significantly contributed to farming in Vermont, whether they own or work on a farm or provide direct support. Individuals, partners, families, and collectives, including members of the farmworker community, are all eligible. The Emerging Leaders category highlights those 40 and younger who demonstrate a deep commitment to Vermont's working landscape, while the Ag Innovators category recognizes those who have taken a fresh and forward-thinking approach. The Lifetime Achievement award goes to those who have played an active role in Vermont agriculture for at least 30 years.
