Winchester-Frederick County Seeks Artists for Tourism Vehicle Wrap Design
Local artists invited to showcase the region's people, landscapes, culture, and experiences in a public art contest.

The Winchester-Frederick County Convention & Visitors Bureau is inviting local artists age 18 and older to participate in a public art contest to design a custom wrap for the Tourism Department's vehicle. The winning design will transform the vehicle into a moving canvas, promoting the area as a vibrant visitor destination.

This project aims to celebrate the region's sense of place through the eyes of the local creative community, supporting local talent while also sharing an authentic story of Winchester-Frederick County with visitors.
The details
Artists will go through a three-stage process beginning with a portfolio submission. Up to five finalists will be selected to develop paid design proposals, with one winner chosen to complete the wrap-ready design. The winning artwork and the artist's name will be featured on the Tourism Department vehicle as it travels throughout the region and beyond.
- The call for artists opens on Monday, March 30, 2026.
- The final design will be selected within approximately a one-month timeframe.
