The Heart of Virginia Classic Auto Club (HOVCAC) made a donation to the CRS Food Pantry, which is relocating to a new location in Victoria, Virginia. The food pantry has been operating for over 26 years, providing essential food assistance to families and seniors in Lunenburg, Nottaway, and surrounding counties. The pantry assists around 1,300 people per month.

Why it matters

The donation from the auto club will help support the CRS Food Pantry's mission of alleviating hunger and food insecurity in the local community. As the pantry expands its operations to a new location, the additional resources will allow it to continue serving a growing number of clients in need.

The details

The CRS Food Pantry is relocating from the Peoples Community Center on 1021 Tidewater Ave. to a new facility at 45 Marshalltown Rd. in Victoria. The pantry allows clients to shop for their own produce, dry goods, and meat. The new location will enable the pantry to serve even more individuals facing food insecurity in the region.

  • The CRS Food Pantry is relocating effective March 1, 2026.
  • The Heart of Virginia Classic Auto Club holds a cruise-in event at 5 p.m. on the third Saturday of the month from April to October at the Farmville Tractor Supply parking lot.
