The Virginia wine community celebrated its annual Governor's Cup Gala in Richmond, where Governor Abigail Spanberger presented the Governor's Cup for best in show to Valley Road Vineyards and winemaker Corry Craighill for its 2023 Cabernet Franc Reserve. The competition saw a record number of entries and gold medals, reflecting the growing quality of Virginia wines, especially from the exceptional 2023 vintage.
