A national fried chicken chain, Popeyes, has signed on to open a new restaurant at the Sheetz-anchored development taking shape across from the Amtrak station on Staples Mill Road in Richmond, Virginia. The Popeyes location will occupy a 3,000-square-foot building next to the new Sheetz gas station and convenience store currently under construction at 7520 Staples Mill Road.
