At the Carolina Classic, North Carolina A&T's Brianna Charles set meet records in the 60m dash and 200m race, while teammate Deavion Deleon broke the school record in the mile. Spirit Morgan of North Carolina A&T also broke the program record in the women's high jump. On the men's side, Jason Holmes of North Carolina A&T won the 60m hurdles, and Yule Pieters of North Carolina A&T recorded the second-best high jump in school history. Hampton's Brianna Charles dominated in the sprints, setting meet records in the 60m dash and 200m race.
