The North Carolina softball team defeated Marist, 12-2, on Saturday afternoon at Anderson Softball Stadium. Sophomore right-handed pitcher Kendall Frost threw a complete game, striking out six and earning her eighth win of the season. The Tar Heels hit three home runs, including a 3-run shot by graduate shortstop Shelby Barbee and solo homers by senior designated player MC Eaton and junior catcher Rayna Blackwell.
